Light + Well is kind of my motto, theme and of course I had to create my signature smoothie recipe! This is the go to smoothie I have almost every day unless I’m switching things up, which always happens too.
You won’t need to add ice to this if you use frozen bananas like I do. Sometimes I don’t keep up with my freezing and I use regular ones, which is perfect in winter months if you want a room temp smoothie, but in summer I’ll add a few ice cubes.
- 2 Ripe Bananas (hint, frozen ones make your smoothie just cold enough)
- 1 C raw spinach
- 2 TBL Almond Butter or your favorite
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 Date, pitted
- 3 TBL Raw Cacao Powder or Chocolate Protein Powder of choice
- Almond Milk to your preferred consistency
